How to hide Instagram Chat ?

Most of the Instagram users have their personal or private chats which they want that anybody can`t access that Instagram messages of the conversation.

1st Method 

Firstly Visit your Instagram profile and tap on the menu with three stripes. It’s in the upper-right corner of the screen.

At the bottom, click on Setting–>Notification–>Messages

A new window will appear with three options. You can choose according to your needs from those three options.

In order to hide the notifications of your messages, you must select the first option: “Disabled” so that the application does not notify you when the message is received, regardless of whether the message received is the main message or the normal message.

But if you select “Principal only”, You will receive notifications from Instagram in this category, and the rest of the notifications will not be noticed.

In addition, If you activate the “Main and General” option, you will receive notifications of all the messages that arrive in your mailbox.

2nd Method

• Go to your Instagram profile and click the Snap with the three stripes symbol on the options menu. It’s in the top right of your screen.
• Snap-on ‘Settings’, followed by ‘Notifications’ and directly ‘or’ Messages.
• In the new window, three options will appear from which you can choose according to your need: Inactive, Main only and Main and General.
• To have the option to hide your notification notifications, you should choose the primary option: ‘Inactive’ and thus, the application will not tell you when you will receive the message, whether it is main or normal.
• If you select ‘Head only’, Instagram will only send you notifications in this classification, while the rest will go unnoticed.
• Then, by invoking the ‘Main and General’ option, you will be advised to clear multitude of messages arriving in your inbox.
• Whatever the reason, you realize how you can disable or hide chats in Instagram. These conversations will be kept secret and only for you.
